Springhill Equine’s Wellness Plans
Why Wellness? Because it guarantees your horse will have everything it needs each year, and you don’t have to remember to get it done. We’ll handle the health care; you enjoy your horse!
Wellness Plans run from January 1st to December 31st. If you are signing up in the fall, the Plan will start the following January 1st. All Plans end Dec. 31st. Wellness Plan prices do not include trip fee, which will be charged separately at the time of each visit.
Performance / Under 3
The Traveler
If you have an equine athlete, then the Performance Plan is for you! Designed for the active show horse, we include an extra visit to be sure minor problems are identified and addressed before they stop you in your tracks. Never worry about vaccinations being up to date or expired Coggins. Also ideal for horses under 3 years of age, who need extra vaccines to stay safe.
- Includes the following:
- – Eastern & Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, and West Nile vaccines (3 times annually)
- – Rhino vaccine (3 times annually)
- – Flu vaccine (3 times annually)
- – Rabies vaccine
- – Coggins
- – Dental Float
- – Fecal Egg Count (2 times annually)
- – Wellness Exam (3 times annually)
- – $10 off each FES session!
- – No Emergency fees! ($100 value per emergency!)
Weekend Warrior
The Part-Timer
- While you wouldn’t call yourself a full time on-the-road horse owner, you and your horse enjoy lots of adventures. From trail rides to small horse shows, it’s nice to get out and about with your trusty steed! With those adventures come increased risks for disease, like Influenza and Rhinopneumonitis. Our Weekend Warrior plan ensures you are ready to hit the road!

- – Eastern & Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, and West Nile vaccines (2 times annually)
- – Rhino vaccine (2 times annually)
- – Flu vaccine (2 times annually)
- – Rabies vaccine
- – Coggins
- – Dental Float

- – Wellness Exam (2 times annually)
- – No Emergency fees! ($100 value per emergency!)
Pasture Pet
The Homebody
Does your horse enjoy the life of leisure? If your horse or donkey rarely leaves the property, then Pasture Pet is the plan for you! This plan is designed for the homebody who rarely, if ever, sees new horses. Some diseases, like encephalitis and rabies, can be brought to your farm by mosquitos and wildlife, so every equine needs vaccines to be protected from these diseases.
- Includes the following:
- – Eastern & Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, and West Nile vaccines (2 times annually)
- – Rabies vaccine
- – Coggins
- – Dental Float
- – Fecal Egg Count (1 time annually)
- – Wellness Exam (2 times annually)
- – No Emergency fees! ($100 value per emergency!)
Super Senior Add-On
The Retiree- We have a special addition to our Wellness Packages for the Super Senior. The Senior add-on package monitors Cushing’s (also called PPID), laminitis, and the major organ systems. Catching problems early gives us many, many more treatment options, so your Super Senior can continue to enjoy the good life, whether that’s riding or retirement.
- Includes the following:
- – X-Rays of the front feet once yearly
- – Blood testing for Cushings/PPID once yearly
- – Complete blood work and chemistry panel once yearly
